We need to start voting with our dollars and ensure that our purchases are supporting companies that promote freedom.
Now, the people who don’t shop from big chains and buy from small-level companies claim they support the local manufacturers. But they are unaware of the fact that mega-corporations own the majority of these consumer goods brands. Companies like Procter & Gamble, Johnson & Johnson, Unilever, and S.C.Johnson & Johnson, profited a combined $210 Billion in 2020. Some of these companies have become influential in the economy, politics and society.
Many media sources and studies have shown that around 63% of their profit goes to the media campaign and in the advertisement of their products. They focus more on advertising the products rather than increasing the quality of products. Billions of Dollars go from one big company to another big media company every year, which adds no value to the end user. That’s also one of the reasons why we should support the local businesses.
We have spent decades being dependent on mega-corporations. It’s time we start to think about our people. Support our own manufactured goods and make the people of the US independent. To do that, you don’t have to do anything outside of your ordinary routine. Just test us out once, compare the prices, and check the quality of our products.
Non-durable consumer goods are the items we purchase and run out of month after month for our entire lives. The items like toothpaste, dish soap, laundry detergent, lotion, soaps, etc. The boring stuff we hardly ever think about. By controlling the distribution of this category, mega-corporations have created a predictable model of cash flow based on our buying habits.
